Ricardo es un director de teatro y video. Se formó en esta carrera en Pace University. Su trabajo se enfoca en contar historias. Ha formado parte profesional de instituciones como HERE Arts Center, New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, TeatroLATEA y Teatro Sea, .
Como realizador audiovisual ha dirigido videos musicales y asistido en la dirección de comerciales para corporaciones. Como artista escénico ha presentado su trabajo en Ecuador, Nueva York y Grecia. Destacando una larga temporada como asistente de dirección de Óperas en grandes escenarios del Ecuador.
Desempeñándose en distintas áreas de las artes escénicas, actualmente reside en Barcelona donde sigue desarrollando encuentros teatrales, sonoros y patafísicos.
Ricardo is a theater and media director raised in Ecuador and based in NYC. He is interested in telling stories that wander between reality and magic, that denounces oppresive systems and also bring hope to audiences. His latest works include collaborating with Teatro Sea, the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts and ElTiatro. Ricardo has been involved in several areas of theater, from collaborating as technical assistant to organizing theater archives at the NYPL. He projects himself as a multidisciplinary artist when working in theater, film, and music.
He lives now in Barcelona where he continues to create theater, sounds and pathaphysics.
